Upcycled from an unfinished hand embroidered vintage tablecloth and crocheted placemats, this crop button-up shirt tells a story of past celebrations. “Handmade by my great aunt Dimp probably in the 60s or 70s. Every occasion, birthdays, Christmas they came out. We had a tablecloth too but I don’t know where that ended up.” (Alice). The shirt features vintage buttons and a split style back. Bound internal seams were used in the construction. The lace section of the shirt is unlined.
